Requiem of Sanity, Part 1She stirred. Her wild red hair spread across the enormous bed, shared by her clanswomen, parts of it frizzy from the recent humidity. Her mouth was slightly open, and a tiny line of spittle ran from the side of it to the cloth on the bed, creating a dark spot of moisture next to her head. Her completely white night clothes were wrinkled and twisted around her from all her tossing and turning. A small shadow fell over her, darkening her already tanned face. Her eyes twitched behind their lids, and she rolled over once again, practically laying her head on another girl’s feet.
